STUDENT ADMISSIONS
Each year, we accept an incoming class of sixth and ninth graders. Our annual recruitment process involves school visits, open houses, and brochure distribution and is overseen by a committee that includes the principal, the program director, our parent coordinator, teachers, students, parents, advisory-board members, outside partners, and guidance counselors from elementary and middle schools.
In both sixth and ninth grades, we are looking for students who will benefit from our approach because they want to explore both self-expression and communication through the written word. We seek parents who believe that the better their children’s ability to express themselves in writing, the better their opportunities in the world outside the schoolyard. Most of all, we expect all of our students to work their hardest in a college-preparatory environment with the highest academic and behavioral standards.
